If the ambient temperature is above 60°C (140°F), the internal cell construction of the lithium polymer battery may be damaged, causing it to swell and become unsafe. Do not store the device in a vehicle parked in hot weather for long periods of time.
9. Why are the green and red light on the jumper cable blinking?
The jumper cable features a smart Over-Start Protection function. If you start the vehicle more than 4 times in 2 minutes, the jumper cable will turn on Over-Start Protection: The green and red light will start to blink and the battery clamps will have no output. When you disconnect the jumper cable plug from the jumper starter, the smart Over-Start Protection will reset.
10. How do I know if this unit is correctly connected to the vehicle?
The indicator on the jumper cable will show a steady green light when the battery clamps are correctly connected to the vehicle battery. If a steady red light comes on and the unit is beeping, the connection needs to be reversed.
11. Can this unit charge other devices while it is being charged?

This jump starter is incredibly strong and has saved me countless times. I love the included accessories, especially the car charger that provides up to 100W fast charging. The jump starter cables that come with the GOOLOO boast high-quality design and materials. The clamps grip the battery terminal very securely. However, I��ve found that they have trouble clamping down on battery terminals with limited space.
I��ve had the GOOLOO for about 8 months now and have jump-started over 25 cars so far. From my small Camry to an F350, it had no problems turning the crank and starting every engine in under 3 seconds. Living in the Northeast, I��ve used the starter in freezing cold temps to scorching hot summers without any issues. The battery also performed exceptionally in retaining charge, only losing a few percent of charge per month in storage.
The features that stand out compared to its competitors are the pre-heating and boost features. The pre-heating is very valuable when working in freezing conditions, where lithium batteries notoriously degrade in performance. The boost feature is another plus when working with larger displacement engines. I haven��t needed to use that feature yet, but I can imagine it would be life-saving for truckers or even semis.

Bought a new car (Rav4H) and wanted something like this for my back seat organizer (hangs off back seats). This one got good marks from both Project Farm and Chickanic youtubers so I gave it a shot.
Car is brand new so tested on 2011 ranger truck with dead battery. Did not work until I pushed the boost button- then it worked great. That is not clear in the owners manual and they probably need to make this more clear.
Yesterday tried it on my big John Deere Lawn tractor . It actually turned the engine over faster than it normally does with a good battery, which made it start much faster than normal!. I did not have to hit the boost button this time fwiw.
The 100wPD port is just a nice bonus and will be nice to have in an emergency.
So I have no idea how long it will last, but the product does work very well and does what it claims.
I liked it so much I want ahead and bought their portable compressor GT160 as well..

Nice features - you do need to read the operator's manual or at least turn unit over and read chart on the back of the device. Have only jump started one vehicle so far but was excellent. I might note that most lithium battery jump starters are not made for repeated jump starts over a short period of time. If your vehicle is a hard starter that requires continual jumps before it will stay running, lithium battery jump start may not be the best type. That said, I highly recommend the GOOLOO GT4000S. It comes with all the cables you might need, and the battery clamps are high quality. It can be charged from 12V car outlet with supplied cable but does not come with a wall charger. Mine charges nicely from a 33W cell phone charger that I already had.

Overall, I can't find much fault in this unit. I work as a technician for Ford, and use this at the dealership to jump cars. I like it because it is small enough to lock up in a roll cart, and charges pretty quickly. So far I've been able to start everything no problems. I don't really use the flashlight because I've got bigger and better flashlights for my line of work, but the light is bright; it's certainly bright enough if you needed to use it to light up an engine bay or use it to walk a dog or to your car or something. I've only had it for about 1.5 months, but I've jumped probably 20-30 cars so far already with no issues. I also like knowing exactly how much juice it has, and showing the wattage that it's charging is pretty slick as well. I'm very happy with it and it fits all the needs I have for it.

I was skeptical of this product as the company doesn't have a phone number to call and they didn't answer email questions I had. A friend of mine thought very highly of this product and when it went on sale I decided to take a chance. I bought the GT4000S Jump Starter rated for -40. It arrived quickly, well packaged, user friendly and almost completely charged.
I received this on a Tuesday and charged it completely, then stuck it in my truck hoping it would work if I needed it to. Of course, how you find out if it works is when you have a dead truck battery on a Forest Service road with noone else around. I thought it would be a waist of money.
As fait would have it, on Wednesday one of the trucks in the compound had a dead battery (2024 Nissan Titan 5.6L V-8 engine). I connected the jumper cables and within 10 seconds the device said ready. i was skeptical, but when I started the vehicle, it fired right up! Used up 10% of the charge in the devise, but it started! I was so pleased to be able to test this out so soon! It will definitely start more than a dead rider mower battery!
They give you tons of different adapters for charging and a nice carry bag. The unit small so I keep it in the glovebox. It is surprisingly a sturdy construction and looks like it can handle a drop on the ground. It also charges cell phones and hiking headlamps quickly!
I have only had this a few weeks so I can't speak to it's longevity. But the only thing a battery jump starter has to do is jump start a car - and it did.
I'm totally pleased with the purchase so far, and happy my friend recommended this product.
The only downside I can see is if you need to contact customer service.

Difficult cold weather starts and a "vampire" electrical drain on my 7.3L F-250 Superduty prompted me to get the Gooloo 4000 series jump starter. Three days after I received the unit, I put it to the test. The batteries (2) were so low, they wouldn't turn the engine. It took 3 tries (follwing Gooloo's instructions). But, on the third try, the old lady cranked up and purred like a mountain lion. Came home and ordered a second unit so I would have one for each battery in a worse case scenario. My advise is to read the user instructions carefully and follow the instructions for care. Lithium-ion battery chemistry is very sensitive to how it's treated. The performance on longevity of your Gooloo jump starter depends a great deal on how well you care for them.

Unit works great! Have 4 jumps off it in past few days and still at 87% charge. Love it! Only issue is with the cheap storage bag. The stitching all came loose at the top and it’s frayed all around, which gets tangled in the connectors every time. Throwing it away.

My son run's an automotive service part-time. He regularly is contacted by someone with a car or truck that won't start. After buying several Jump Starters a few years ago, he gave up on them because they either didn't work or didn't hold up under use. I ordered the Gooloo for him as a Birthday gift hoping this would be much improved over the previous models.After opening the box and picking up the jump starter, I could immediately see and feel the difference from models my son and I owned in the past. This unit is hefty, has stout well made case and a large easy to read display. The accessory kit has every cable you could need; Heavy Duty Jumper Cables, SC 100W Car Charger, USB to Type-C , Type-C to Type-C Cable, Cigarette Lighter Adapter and Storage Bag.With only 2 buttons to control the unit, it's easy to operate. Simply press the Power Button to turn it on. If your going to jump a vehicle with a completely dead battery, you need to press the Boost Button. A long press of the Power Button turns on the very bright Flash Light on the end. Pressing the power button 2 more times cycles the flash light through Strobe modes. This is handy if you have problems after dark and need light to connect the jumper.I wanted to test the unit but none of my vehicles had dead or low battery so I disconnect the battery on my diesel powered tractor. I had used the tractor earlier in the morning to push snow and left it outside in 20 degree temp for 10 hours. Since disconnecting the cables from the battery mimics having a dead battery, I had to push the Boost Button to get power. My tractor started immediately! As you can see at the end of the video, the tractor start only dropped the battery capacity from 98% to 95%.The Gooloo could also be used as a Power Bank for operating and charging other devices.At this time I'm giving it 5 Stars and will update the review after some use by my son.

It's a great Unit, It definitely has some juice. I ended up needing it about one week after I received because I left my lights on overnight in 9 degree temps. Got up for work and hit my remote start and didn't hear a thing. Instantly knew it was dead. This unit, even not being the one with the self heating, started my 4.7l v8 the first time with the boost function. (I had left the unit in the car overnight so it was definitely cold). Has a light, will fast charge your phone or laptop. Gonna try it out at work to try and start some diesels, no doubts at all.

In addition to the GOOLOO pack I have a 2000 amp jump pack as well as another 4000 amp jump pack. Size wise, this is the largest of the packs I have, and probably the strongest. I have a 4.4 L gas engine, but the target engine is a 7.3 L diesel.As i've been increasingly taking my truck off-grid, i'm continuously looking at better options to be able to self extract. The GOOLOO product is intended to get me out of a no-start situation.The GOOLOO pack has a nice large LCD screen as well as a nice large light more COB in style than the other packs. The battery clamps on this pack are also by far the largest set of clamps for any of the packs and also the longest length of cables.Why is that important? In most BMW��s the battery is not mounted in the engine bay - but rather some other part of the vehicle for better weight distribution. What this can lead to is posts that are mounted in the engine bay, but spread out further than your typical battery. The GOOLOO have plenty of length where this is not an issue.Since my batteries are in good shape, I could not test the low battery scenario. So I tried to simulate a dead battery situation by disconnecting the batteries. I was able to get it to crank, but not start. I know I need 10.5 V to the computer to actually get it to turn over, so I don��t think I was getting enough voltage to the computer. That does indicate that in a low voltage setting, I should be able to start the truck. More testing is required, but so far this is pretty promising.In comparison, the other 4000 amp jump pack, would not even turn over the engine.So the package comes in a nice box - not unlike apple product packaging. So in general - a pretty nice package. It also comes with a storage bag, but not a semi-hard case like some of the competition.If I were to make a suggestion, i'd spend less money on the box, and upgrade the storage bag to a similar semi-hard case. That should allow all the parts to stay in place, and not get separated from the jump pack.Other than that whine, a very capable and solid product.Well done.

The Gooloo JSPB GT4000s is heavy and large. Much larger than my wife's X-10 starter pack. You need to plan on storing in the trunk or under the rear seat of a pickup. Most gloveboxes will not store this thing. I did test on my diesel mower and my 6.2l GMC Pickup without the battery attached and the truck engine spun like normal. No sign it was something 1/4 the size of the battery under the hood. With the unit comes several connectors for various uses which is a nice bonus. I did purchase the storage hard case which is a separate purchase and I will review it later. The one thing I like about this and one of the reasons I think the unit is so large, the battery clamps don't have that large block on its cables. On other units "clamp wires" there is a large block which is the protective circuit indicator and alerts to the crossing of wires (positive on a neg). This Gooloo does not have that large block on the wires yet does have cross wire protection and those circuits must be in the unit itself. This may seem like a non issue, but storing the cables with that big "wart" on the wires was always a challenge for me.

I bought this for my truck, the next day at my job site I saw the siding crew trying to jump start a 80' diesel man lift with their super duty truck and cables. I offered this jump box, the contractor looked at it like a toy, then said it wouldn't work.
Thirty minutes later of him trying to use the truck he gave up. After he left I connected to the lift battery, it immediately would crank, but not start. Three clicks of the boost button and it the engine started right up!
Pretty impressive for such a small device to start a huge diesel engine, even when connecting to a super duty duel battery truck couldn't get it.

Several complaints with the GOOLOO GT4000S
1. The product does not come with a 'lightning charger'. without the lightning charger it will take hours for the device to charge even a small amount. I used the supplied charging cable to charge top off the jump starter and after 4 hours of charging the display indicated a 5% increase. it will take days for the jump starter to charge using the supplied cable.
2. The device does not work in cold weather. Temperature was -15F and my car battery was old and would not start my vehicle. When I tried to use the GOOLOO jump box the screen showed an E4 on the screen, beeps constantly and then automatically turns off.
3. The jumper box will not take a charge as it only shows an E4 on the screen, beeps and then shuts off after 30 seconds.
my advice is to purchase a different device, this one left me stranded and simply does not work.

I've had this for a month or so, used primarily for charging laptops/Ipads, worked well, like my other lithium ion battery packs but more capable. Recently left fully charged in my truck for several weeks in freezing temperatures. This morning, I attempted to start my truck, (6.4 L/392 cu in V8) and the battery (AGM H7 from Napa) was so low it wouldn't even unlock the doors. I used the key to get in and hooked the GooLoo up. It was still reading 100% despite being mid 20s, truck instantly cranked like it had a fully charged H7 under the hood. GooLoo still read 96% remaining.

I purchased this item with the intent of using it for my off roading trip. As soon as I took it out of the box I heard a sound of something big rocking loose coming from inside the casing. You can hear it in the video. It does not come with a rugged case either. I do not trust the build quality of the product at All! I have two different ones from other companies that I'll be taking with me on my trip that I do trust.

On line purchase of the Gooloo GT4000S. Within a week of receiving it I had to use it to start my car. I had already fully charged it. Car started immediately. unhooked it from the battery and noticed that 95% remained, then powered it down. Decided to top it off the charge before storing it. Charged back up to 100%, but would not turn on after pressing the on button. The device repeatedly showed 75% when I plugged in back in, but still would not turn on. Using the information recommended in the product manual, I tried contacting GooLoo via email and customer support number. Email address did not work, someone answered the phone once then pretended to have a bad connection. After that they repeatedly hung up on me. Email came back undeliverable. I just sent it back for a refund. If you are fortunate and get a good one, you probably should consider purchasing the extended warranty. The associates at gooloo highly likely will avoid helping you after the sale.

I am blown away at the bang for the buck you get with this jump starter.
First off, it arrives 80% charged. I immediately charged it to 100% and load tested it. It held the rated 4000 amps for the full 5 seconds of the test - unheard of in these devices.
Secondly, the display (which is mounted behind a translucent film) is big, bright, and easy to understand. All of the auxiliary functions performed flawlessly and the included cables and adapters leave little to be desired. The interface panel is clean and standardized to accommodate DC5521 devices, as well as standard and boosted USB-A outlets. The 100W USB-C (in/out) connector makes charging super quick. (the only downside is that you need to already have a 100W USB-C charging brick. Lesser wattage bricks will also work, albeit a bit slower to charge)
The only thing that would have made it perfect would be a hard case to store the device and accessories. (comes with a nylon bag) As I have just received this device I cannot attest to it's longevity. I will try giving an updated review after 6 months.

I finally was able to test the battery jumper since my Subaru battery went dead due to parasitic drain from being idle for a few days.
The super booster feature did work for me. Subaru Outback battery started in the first try.

Used this to jump my 4 wheeler and it worked without issue and it didnt even phase it. I also lost power for 48 hours due to a storm and it was able to keep my phone charged throughout the night battery percentage never dropped below 90%

I tried starting my small engine and it went into error mode (E3) when the engine didnt start right away. I didnt even crank it over for more than 10 seconds before it stopped working. It then is in error mode for 10 minutes before resetting- you cant just reset it manually. It did this everytime I tried to start the engine. Not useable unless your engine starts instantly.

Only used it a few times thus far. And those few times I was impressed, compact and lite, flash light isn't that bright. But bright enough to illumate working area. Great Item, super fast shipping.

So far, this product has completely met my expectations. I have not had battery issues for several years, but both my vehicles have the original batteries in them and are several years old. After reading several reviews, most brands of these do their job well. A week after I purchased it, a friend called to say that she had car trouble, and I went to check what the problem might be. Dead battery. I hooked this device up and the car started like it was connected to a fully-charged battery. This unit was charged to 100% before the jump and was at 98% after. Now, she has my jump starter, and I am ordering another for me.

As a portable battery bank, this thing is pretty cool. It charges itself fast, and charges devices fast. I would say, however, that this blew the 20a cigarette fuse in my truck from drawing too hard. It ramped up fast to about 120w, then *POP*. I replaced the fuse, and has been fine sinse.
Now, for the real purpose of this device, which is to start a vehicle, I can't really tell you if it works properly or not. I have two 6.7l diesel trucks, and both are having dead battery problems as the batteries hadn't been replaced in maybe 6 years. I actually already have a lithium battery jumper from another brand that works great, but really just wanted an excuse to splurge and upgrade a little.
The first time I used this jumper, I put it on a truck that sat dead for a few weeks. Voltage before attempting to jump was 8.2v. I Attached the jumper as ussual and pressed the boost button, then you saw the percentage gauge dump extremely rapidly. It went feom 100% to 34% in the span of a few seconds without even cranking the engine yet. I'm not sure what happened, but as it turns out, it fried the fuse panel. Something shorted and caught fire on the inside. Did the jumper cause it? I don't know. But, I feel like the jumper should have some type of ground fault detection at least. If it does, it didn't work that day.
Second attempt at using it was on another truck. On this truck the voltage before starting was 10.1v. When I attached the jumper and pressed boost, the percent dropped from 100% to 79% like normal. The issue was that it didn't start the truck. Not even close. Ifor several attempts, it got in maybe a quarter crank, then turned off every time. I went and hooked up my old lithium jumper, and it started up instantly, which leads me to believe this one doesn't truly have 4000a. My other one is only about 1800a, and it worked fine.
Not sure what's going on. I'm not an expert at these things. All I know is it didn't work.

I tried for over a month to get a replacement for a defective GT4000. It won't charge properly. Still under the 18 month warranty but they will do nothing. Very bad product and company.

I drive a diesel, excellent product my alternator was bad batteries were dead, and hooked up the gooloo 4000 on each battery crank up within 30 seconds of hooking them up excellent product work very well helped many people out that was in a bind definitely recommend

I use this to start my generator when the power goes out. I sometimes have to use it to start my riding lawn mower and yesterday, for the first time, used it to jump start my wife's car. It's very easy to use and very reliable.

It looks solid and i like the big digital display but very disappointing to see a cheap carrying case. Cmon Gooloo you can do better than this. The smaller/cheaper version comes with a nice case and the expensive one comes with a cheap case. Makes no sense.

Thankfully I haven't had to use to to jump start my car but have used it to recharge my phone in a power outage. Owning this has given me peace of mind that I have a way to jump start my car by myself with ease as well as recharging other electronics in an emergency.

I used the gooloo starter to jump a dead motorcycle battery and it worked like a charm. I haven't needed it for my cars yet, but I plan to always have it handy during road trips, especially when I'm traveling in my minivan camper. When you're out in the boondocks, far from a garage or even AAA, this product is great for peace of mind. You don't need another vehicle to jump your battery. And if you happen upon another traveler with battery problems, you can be a Good Samaritan and help them out. Sturdy construction, several jumps possible on one charge and since I have a power station, recharging via USB is a breeze.
